The Best Instagrammable Spots in London

London is brimming with iconic landmarks, hidden gems, and picture-perfect spots just waiting to be snapped.

Sky Garden:

My first stop on this Instagrammable adventure was the Sky Garden, located atop the Walkie-Talkie building in the heart of the city. As I stepped out of the elevator and into the lush oasis of greenery and glass I was struck by the breathtaking views of London’s skyline. With iconic landmarks such as the Shard, Tower Bridge, and the Gherkin to see.

Kingston Phone Booths Sculpture

Next, this is one of my favourite spots in London. Kingston-upon-Thames has a row of brightly painted phone booths. These charming red telephone boxes have been transformed into a vibrant art installation, each one adorned with a unique design by local artists. Its a wonderful sculpture and an even better Instagram photo opportunity.

The Shard View

London’s iconic Shard is the tallest building in the city. From the winding Thames to the sprawling urban landscape stretching out to the horizon, the view from the Shard is truly breathtaking. NOTE: The Shard has a dress code so no shorts and sandals are allowed.

Neal’s Yard: In Covent Garden

No Instagrammable tour of London would be complete without a visit to Neal’s Yard, a colorful hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Covent Garden. With its colourful shops and alley-ways, it’s the perfect Instagram hotspot. Neal’s Yard is a must-visit spot for any Instagram enthusiast.

London Eye

Of course, the London Eye is on the list, and it’s not just for the breathtaking views – it’s also one of the city’s most Instagrammable attractions. From the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben to the winding river Thames and beyond, the view from the London Eye is truly unforgettable.

Platform 9 ¾: A Magical Tribute to Harry Potter

Next, it is King’s Cross Station, where you get a little tribute to Harry Potter, known in the books as Platform 9¾: I joined the queue of eager fans waiting to pose for a photo with the trolley disappearing into the brick wall, and to end the whimsical spot, you can browse the Harry Potter Shop also located in King´s Cross Station filled with all the Harry Potter souvenirs you can imagine.

Sabine’s Overlooking St. Paul’s Cathedral

Our final stop on this Instagrammable journey is Sabine’s, a chic rooftop bar and restaurant overlooking the iconic dome of St. Paul’s Cathedral. Grab a glass of Champagne and take in the magnificent views of St. Paul’s Cathedral.

Whether you’re snapping selfies atop skyscrapers, posing with painted phone booths or sipping cocktails with a view, London never fails to inspire and delight.
